          Angie Oliver, M.S.
Early Childhood Specialist

I have enjoyed over 30 years of experience working directly with young children and their families in home, community, and educational settings around the world and in Austin, Texas.  The truth is, I began caring for young children as a child, myself when I figured out that volunteering to work in the church nursery got me out of going to "big church".  It was there that I first became fascinated with each child's magical spirit and unique ways of experiencing, exploring, and expressing themselves in the world.

As both a dedicated preschool teacher and a professional nanny, I have actively engaged in comprehensive self-study and hands-on exploration of various early childhood programs, parenting methodologies, and educational paradigms. My research has encompassed a wide range of approaches, including Montessori, Waldorf, Discovery Schools/Constructivist Models, Reggio Emilia, Peace Corp Programs, French International Schools, Parochial Schools, Home-based Preschools, Day Cares, Franchise Preschools, Bi-Lingual Schools, Private Preschools, Head Start Programs, Tutoring Services, After-School Care, Nanny Organizations, English Language Schools, Parent Cooperatives, Attached Parenting, Elimination Communication, Nonviolent Communication, Love & Logic, and Conscious Discipline.

With a passion for holistic child development and a commitment to engaging the mind, body, spirit, and culture through play-based and sensorial learning, I successfully established myself as a versatile traveling nanny, tutor, and teacher. I have honed my skills while working across the United States, including Hawaii, as well as internationally in Australia, Mexico, Guatemala, France, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, and Japan. Embracing individual abilities, family cultures, and social dynamics, I have had the privilege of gaining a unique perspective by seeing the world through the eyes of the children I have had the pleasure of guiding on this journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Continuously driven by a passion for early childhood education, I delved deeper into the importance of sensorial play-based learning and its connections to sociology, psychology, family dynamics, and culture. With guidance from my mentor, Dr. Mike Longoria, I earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University, specializing in Differentiated Instruction & Social/Emotional Learning (SEL).  Engaging in collaborative online discussions with fellow educators worldwide, I recognized the vital role of community and societal support in nurturing well-rounded, mindfully engaged, and productive future leaders.

Drawing upon my diverse background, unique experiences, and current research findings, I offer consulting services in school, family, and community settings.  I enjoy delivering fun, dynamic and engaging trainings, workshops, and keynote presentations to other teachers and parents interested in deepening their understanding of  The Magical Wonderland of Early Childhood. This has become a natural continuation of my commitment to the field, and a catalyst for growth as I collaborate with peers around the country.  I'm happy to be able to share some of the best practices I've gathered along the long way and to celebrate all of our desire & dedication to striving to improve the lives of young children, families, our communities, and ourselves.

Together, we are building a stronger foundation for society and future generations.

Together, we are raising humanity with Love.

Who are the Queens & Kings of Hearts?

As universal symbols of love, compassion, beauty, magnetism, affection and idealism, the King and Queen of Hearts empower us all to aspire to be the best and highest expression of ourselves and our intentions.  She is the much-loved mother, the sweetheart, the indispensable sister, and the adored daughter.  He is the protector, the understanding father, the gentle partner, the sympathetic brother, and the creative, sensitive son.  They are the visionaries who see the world full of joy and peace.

Together, they rule by harmony and the principles of love, and I believe we can learn from their example and each other.  With keen focus on planting seeds of empathy, kindness & mindfulness, we can positively impact not only our youngest hearts and minds, but future generations.   Our mission is to promote peace, elevate humanity, and drive personal growth through love and genuine compassion.

After all, "Love is the only thing you can really give in all this world. When you give love, you give everything."
